Hello Kranthi,

please do this:

1. Click on Support > Files > and in the languages section you can find the available language files. There aren't many, but the list is growing :)..
2. Download the file you want, and place it in /components/com_forme/languages/xx.php. If you do not have the file you need, just copy the en.php to jp.php for example.
3. Duplicate your form. In the duplicated form, in the Form Edit tab, in the ISO language, place jp for japanese for example, then rename the fields/validations in this form.

When you switch, it should change to the japanese version. Otherwise, please give me a link to your form, maybe i can find out what the problem is.

Hi,

I am using joomfish and followed the instructions. The form changes language only if I switch languages when viewing the form. If I switch languages from another page, when I access the form it doesn't changes language.

I suppose it needs the $lang=en to switch. But this variable only gets passed just when language switching occurs.

Is there a way to make it work without having to change language in the form?

Thanks

Hi,
same problem here. And when I switch back the language there is an error: Warning: require_once(/home/xxxxxxx/public_html/components/com_forme/languages/finnish.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/components/com_forme/forme.php on line 20

Any hints?

EDIT: solved one problem. I copied fi.php and named it to finnish.php and now I can swicth language. But the first problem still left.....<br><br>Post edited by: christian.h.olenius, at: 2008/05/20 10:59

Thanks for the Info it actually solved my problem.
But you should update the Knowledge database.
This is the info from RsForm site
Using Multi Language forms with Joomfish
If you wish to use multi-language forms in RSform!Pro, you have to follow these steps:

1. Let's assume that you have English and Spanish languages installed in your Joomfish. Create your English form first(Form Id = 2).
2. Copy the form using the copy function, and translate it in Spanish. The new form will have Form id = 3 for example
3. Go to Menus > Mainmenu > New > RSform!Pro > and set the Form Id to point by default to the english version (Form Id = 2)
4. Go to Joomfish > Translation > English > Menus and select the previously created menu item, then in the Form ID type 2 as that is the English Form
5. Go to Joomfish > Translation > Spanish > Menus and select the same menu item, only this time type 3 in the Form ID to show the Spanish Form

This make it look easy but is not sufficient to work!!!!

Hi,
I followed exactly the process as you explained it, changing the form-id in joomfish \"menus\" translation screen .
But the translation is not visible(id=6), only the original form (id=1) is visible.
The strange thing is that the \"id\" is not visible in the address bar, nor for the original, nor for the translation.
The address: www.eurotriade.com/index.php?option=com_...e&Itemid=136?=en is the same for both languages.
Ihave 3 different forms and I made a trial by putting the form number 2 in joomfish: same result, the \"original form (id=1) is still displayed! (cleaned cache for each trial, of course).
Search Engine Friendly URLs ; Use Apache mod_rewrite, Add suffix to URLs are all set to \"no\".
Thanks for your help
