I am a newbie - purchased the component a few days ago and managed to setup one form with no problems. The second form I attempted - I am having issues with: after filling in the form and clicking submit, nothing happens - no thank you page even though a thank you page is set up. The page refreshes back to the contact form again?

Is this something to do with OpenSEF?

Secondly, how can i get people providing their emails to verify them (like I had to do when registering for this forum?

ok, make sure you have the field as a SUBMIT button and not just a BUTTON button

I resolved it by starting the form again.....the problem occured because this particular form was a restored backup....starting it from scratch seems to resolve it.....

Again i am having the same problem (i'm using Joomla 1.5) the first form i tried it on was restored from a backup, so i made it again and it still shows the same problem. I have sef urls enabled, i think its something to do with this as when i fill in the form from the direct link it works fine?, anyone any ideas?

Did you set up SEF URL's correctly?

yeah, everything is configured as it should be, and rsform works fine when its disabled, very frustrating

That is very strange. I just activated my SEF Urls again and everything works fine.

Post us a link to your form and a copy of the backup of the form if you could.

It might have something to do with the way i have the form embedded in the page. At the time the mambot wasn't working for Joomla 1.5 so i added a couple of extra user fields in the Joomla page template and put the module in one of them. It resulted in an error when i had the sef activated so another workaround was copy the direct url of the form (the url result when you click on the preview for the form) and put it into the the \"post\" on the form layout.
So it now works, albeit not how it should.

yeah that one came though. It does now work but the sending of the form isn't using the default sef url, its using the one for the direct link to the form, but hey it works now so onto the next project!

Well, the form link above is using a SEF url so I'd say it's working. If it was a direct link to the form it would be listed with a form number.

I think the issue is when you're previewing it before it's live. So it seems to be more of a matter of practice with using the component.
