I have been unable to get any form to email to the specified user. If I try to use PHPMail in the Global Configuration (which does allow me to send emails to newly created users), I see the 'Could not instantiate mail function.' error message and nothing is sent. I have also tried to use sendmail, but to no avail. I have also used the SMTP server method, only to see the 'Could not connect to SMTP server.' error message. I have tried using a Gmail account and SMTP server as well as an account that I have setup within the domain on my hosting provider (where their email is pointed to). Neither work. I can't believe that this is a simple configuration setting, as I have been able to send mail from the new user creation with the settings. I have been trolling these forums only to find the automated response at the end of the tunnel with no real working solution. I really like the component, and I will purchase RSForm Pro, but I won't do it until I can make one of the RSForms work on my site. Can anyone help?
