TOPIC: Showing submitted records back to the user

Showing submitted records back to the user 14 years 2 months ago #12849

I've download, installed and setup a fairly simple form with this excellent component. I can submit data, view it in the backend, export etc and the email notification works fine.

My question is how can I display the inputted data back to the user from the MySQL database?

Say the form allows a user to log items for a shopping list. I want to be able to display the list of submitted items from a different menu items.

Am I wandering straight into an area where I need coding experience or am I looking at another extension?

I understand the user would need to login and that I need to capture the LoginID of the user in the database records and then query them back out using SELECT fields where LoginID = x but I've no idea how to achieve that within a joomla environment.

Thanks in advance.
