Sure Chris,

Assuming that your form has field ids like: firstname, lastname, phone, city, country, email

Edit your form, go to the Emails tab and :

1. In the Email form data to: type your e-mail address
2. In the Email form data from: type your website e-mail address (has to be different from the first one). something like support@
3. In the Email subject: type something like Enquiry from {firstname} {lastname}
4. In the Email text: type something like:

New enquiry from {firstname} {lastname}
Phone: {phone}
Email: {email}
City: {city}
Country: {country}

This way you have complete control on the mail that is being sent to you. Let me know.

sounds great!

but I have a field which the field type is select.

so, how can I send a automatic e-mail with the completely text.

for example:

filed id is {type}

|Select a type, sc|school,un|university,ho|home

if I write on the e-mail text

Type: {type}

the user will receive \"sc\" or \"un\" or \"ho\"
instead of \"school\" or \"university\" or \"home\"

Is there a solution for this?

tks

patricia

Sure patricia, just change your default value to:

|Select a type, school|school,university|university,home|home

Hi

In fact is not a good solution because will enlarge the field. But it's ok.

Anyway tks again, Alex.

It shouldn't enlarge the field. the first value is the one that you don't see and that is passed to the form. The second one, after the | is the one that you see in the html page.

Alex,
On the completed form, I'm using a radio field and using it for the Return URL. However, when I get the completed form it's giving me the URL rather than the text associated with the radio button. How can I get the text vs. the url?

Thanks in advance. I find your solutions extremely helpful!
