Unfortunatelly I have no alternative but to ask a question here. I'm saying \"unfortunatelly\" 'cause given the current situation of the non-existant support I'll probably have to wait another 10 days just to get a single answer.
Anyway here goes nothing: RSForm is not working with sh404sef (there's already another 3d abiyt it). However I've contacted the (really kind) author of sef that has tried to see what is going on. However being RSForm encrypted he couldn't help me out.
What I'm asking is this: can I send him my unencrypted verion of RSForm? Would I be violating any copyright laws in doing so?
However for all it's worth I'm really, seriously thinking to leave RSForm. The non-existant support is not only frustrating but also dangerous. What would happen if somebody found a serious bug?
Given the current situation, we'd need 10 days just to get a single comment on the situation. This would be really bad even for a free product but RSForm is commercial

i don't think that the developer make a problem if you send the unencrypted version to the sef developer for support issues i think its in benefit off all users that rsforms wil work under sef.

This is just my opinuon i'm not the developer offcourse send him a email where you ask if its ok with him

i have the same problem, and it's too bad to haev to make a choice between 2 components are that useful.

there must be a way....i can't believe some one can 't not work this out. this is just out my understanding.

Right now i am satisfied with RSform but i give a bit more priority on my site for SEF url. i am stock using the SEF from the joomla core, but i would really like to use sh404SEF. it's really the best so far of the 3rd party component. i tried them all and it is very fast, much faster than other and (probably that's why it's fast) there is almost no additional queries to the db.

i am sure that if the dev of RSform! and sh404SEF talk to each other they can find a solution to make their user happy, and would make a nice promotion for their product.

i have installed it on joomla 1.51 with your product.
i have the beta sh404sef product...the url is a little different:
/components/com_ssh404sef/sef_ext/com_forme.php
is this still the case ??????

Can you tell me if there are any issues with the new version? I have searched, looks like none -just seeking comfirmation.

I have added this file to sef404 in J1.5.2 and it doesnt seem to be making any differecne (thus far)

In SEF404 you can tell it to skip selected components...once they are skipped..the urls show up as normal and things should work.
