Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file 14 years 5 months ago #8970

Error! Could not find a Joomla! setup file in the package. Path does not have a valid package.

This is the error i am getting when trying to install the Cron Plugin. I am running Joomla! on Windows and have install many other packages. Please tell me what to do to troubleshoot this as it is not installing or working. Is there a manual install process for this Plugin?
