TOPIC: Delete custom field

I did some testing and now I need to delete a custom field.
I have deleted all of the tickets but Get this error
You can't delete this custom field because there are already tickets with this field configured.

How do I overcome this?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Hello,

This is due to the fact that you most likely have some other tickets posted on that department (closed).
