I see that RSTickets will create a new user in Joomla when a ticket is created. How is it deciding on a username? And what is the password for these newly created users?

Hello,

The username is based on the customer's email address. Eg. email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , username test will be created. If it already exists it will just add random numbers at the end until it finds one that doesn't.

The password of course is a random combination of letters and numbers. It's emailed to the customer upon automatic registration.

Post edited by: strafe, at: 2008/10/10 08:51
