TOPIC: Can user modify their own data?

Can user modify their own data? 14 years 6 months ago #8924

Is it anyway to let user modify their own data and let them have an option to save as draft?

Thank you.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

We are using RSForm!Pro to let the customer enter data on THEIR customers, and then we will bring it back around to the front edit so that they can edit it.

I have a guy working on it, and I believe it would be done by scripting the submissions, and sending them off to front end as input in a format that would rewrite to the DB tables.

I don't know HOW yet but it seems that all the elements to do it are in there.

Sure this can be done, I have built a form that exactly does this.
But you do have to have knowledge of PHP and the Joomla framework.

Here is an example of a multipage form. www.rsjoomla.com/customer-support/forum/...-with-rsformpro.html
This looks like a multipage form of 5 pages, but actually these are 5 forms chained together.
Data is stored in one database table.
When you go from (for example) page 2 back to page 1 then you are actually editing data that was already stored in the database table.
