TOPIC: Automatically adding a username into a text field

I had a form which I'd like only registered users to be able to fill out, that part is easy. What I'd also like to do is for the form to automatically add the users username into a text box. Here's how I'd like it to work, a user logs on, finds the the form and the test field labelled username is already complete and is not editable.

Is this possible?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Add
readonly
to the attributes section of the text field.
