TOPIC: RSform pro Multiple File Upload - how can I do it?

RSform pro Multiple File Upload - how can I do it? 15 years 4 months ago #5717

I've been searching for a solution to this but I can't come up with anything acceptable, short of rewriting the entire component.

I can add upload buttons, but they only allow me to upload a single file, does anyone know how I can allow a user to upload multiple files from within rsform! pro?

If the component cannot possibly do it, I would be interested in a workaround solution as well.
For example: I have installed another file upload plugin which allows multiple uploads. I created a button in my form with the onclick window.open function which opens a new window with an article displaying the other upload plugin.......however, this doesn't let me associate the uploaded files with the user who submitted the form.

If anyone has advice on how I can either make rsform! pro allow multiple file uploads, or how to use a third party uploader but maintain the reference to the user who submitted the form, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm new here still working on first form but you can make more than one entry for Upload, just name the them upload1, ulpoad2 ect. and capture Upload on all.

This is the right answer.
You should add as many "File upload" fields as you need.
After submitting form all files will be attached to email.

Yes I am setting up a form for users to upload sample images for a task item but do not want to have a page full of upload fields. I would like to just have one field and let the uploader decide however many images he is uploading.
At first I thought make the additional upload fields conditional but this still results in a big blank space in the form forcing the user to scroll down the blank page before reaching the next visible field.

So how else can we do it come on someone must know??!!

I as well would like to know how to do this! And really, I see 12.6K viewers and still no answer. I do see a lot of 'Official Staff Members' around on posts asking why did you do this and why did you do that? How about an answer to something that seems to have a lot of interest?

Same question here! Because a multiple upload would also allow people to delete a file after selecting in case it was the wrong one. This is a feature on several other forms components, I'm not certain why it isn't in this program.

Is this still not possible?

Any update on this? Curiously on you Support form for your own customer you have this functionality, there is a select file button and a "addanotherfile button"

Please advise.

OVER 8 YEARS AND STILL NO SOLUTION? This is surprising, considering how much RSform has developed during that time.

Still no solution? Multiple file upload drag-n-drop seams basis requirement for many situations.
Or at least some button to add another file.

Do I really have to ask the visitors to zip their uploads?
That would be an insecure solution.
