Hi there,

After trying a lot of configurations, I can not manage to get a "Admin email" being send when the Joomla! User registration is enabled.

This is my Joomla! User registration configuration:

Maybe it has to do something with this strange behaviour ( bug?): hhen selecting "Admin" for the New User Account Activation, the "User activation" option is also available:

- Is the "From Email" same as the one on Global Configuration?
- Did yo fill in some message and/or information into Admin Email clicking the button "Edit the Email Text" or is it empty?

Because I too made these two mistakes several times.

- The "From Email" was not the same as the one on Global Configuration. But even when I use the same mailaddress, not admin-mail is send
- Yes, there is content in the Admin Email. (see screenshot)

Now I tried an additional email. That is working!

About the placeholders: only the {user_activation} placeholder is working, the placeholder {admin_activation} is not affected
