TOPIC: backup and restore submissions

backup and restore submissions 3 years 4 months ago #41743

Does the backup and restore functions just do the forms or all the submissions as well?
If I want to delete some of the submissions and restore the rest to a different site, how do I do that? Will it replace everything on the new site or add to it? If the form used User Registration, will added submissions via the restore process register the users?

Update:
I've been experimenting. I backed up a form including submissions (I didn't see the parameter earlier).I deleted one form submission record then tried to restore it to the same site. The record I had deleted was restored. But the IDs changed. In the Restore parameters, there is an option to Keep form IDs from backup. I tried it both Yes and No and both times the submission IDs changed to 1 and 2 instead of 31 and 32 which were the original IDs.
Now I just realized that when you restore forms, it is ALL the forms on the site. I just wiped out all except the one form I was experimenting on!!

Is there anyway to restore one form at a time?

"Is there anyway to restore one form at a time?"

Backup one form at a time, then restore it. If you backup all of them to one archive it will restore all of them.
