I have a complex form used for student election eligibility.

Currently folks just choose a dropdown with the candidates name, and we store the candidates username as the value.

The issue is, this form is used for multiple positions which the candidate could be running for. And so their username and real name might appear more than once in the pulldown, under different groupings.

I need to know what group they were selected for, so I can tally the correct submissions based on their username (which I have) and position they were running for (the group).

Any ideas?
