TOPIC: Action URL on form

Action URL on form 4 years 11 months ago #39124

Hi there,

I read on the website:
Action: This is the action where the form will be submitted to. You will only need to edit this in rare cases. Leave blank for default (RSForm! Pro will detect the current URL).

I have a question on the current URL. I have set my website to https and this website has a "secure connection notification". However when one fills in a RS Forms form, he gets a notification that it is not secure. I noticed in the 'action-url' that the url doesn't contain https (it show the url with http, without s). I was wondering where RS Forms does its detection, where upon it is based? (maybe public live_site in configuration.php of Joomla? )

I wanted to change action_url myself on the Form attributes, but I have a form in multiple languages so the the link is not the same.

Any ideas?
Thanks for feedback!

Kind regards,
DLM

Hi,

In specific I need to know what the current_url is based on. Because it's not the JUri::base() or the live_site on the configuration.php. Thanks for feedback!

Hi there,

Any feedback on this matter? I still have this issue. And therefore my form is flagged as "insecure".
The action url refers to my http url, and not the https url.
