TOPIC: Search in a dropdown

Search in a dropdown 5 years 1 month ago #38976

Hello.

Is it possible to add a search in a dropdown field. Now you can only click B and you'll see every result starting with a B, but can it also search the entire word (not the first letter).

Thanks for feedback!

You have to implement your own javascript in order to do this and has been documented in another post here: www.rsjoomla.com/forum/37-rsform-pro/282...ields-available.html

I use the select2.org, however there are others. Select2 is actively maintained (in fact my original post you may wish to update to the latest CDN if that is how you chose to implement).

Select2.org has examples available. To see it in action with RSForm Pro you can view this form here: westmissourioptimist.org/contact-us (please do not submit anything)
