Add group of fields dinamically 8 years 11 months ago #35092

Hi I would like to know if the following is possible.

I have a reservation form which has the following number fields

Number Input
Adults | Children

Adults :
Name | Last Name | Date of birth
Children :
Name | Last Name | Date of birth

Is it possible to add / remove the field group
Name | Last Name | Date of birth
as as the user increases / decreases the number in the Adults / Children input ?

Thank you

Hello

As dynamically adding fields within the same form is not so easy to achieve and it requires advanced scripting knowledge, RSForm!Pro gives you the possibility to add or remove fields or group of fields through 'Conditional Fields' feature.

More info on 'Conditional Fields' here:
www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/r...ditional-fields.html

For example, if you choose two adults and one child, you can setup conditional fields to show you two field groups for adults and one field group for the child.

Find more informations about how to set up conditionals for groups of fields on the following articles:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/r...roups-of-fields.html
www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/r...st-hand-example.html
