I tried playing around with the reply-to and putting in values in the from settings and it just doesn't change the error displayed after submission.

I have no idea what is sending the error, is it RSFP or Joomla? Is it the template?

Something is sending the error caused by the J3.5.1 update and I need to fix ASAP.

I continued to get this error even after 1.51.14.

Serendipitously, I discovered there was no "from e-mail" set in Jooomla's configuration.php file. Once I entered one all worked fine.

Under "form Properties" double check the tags or place holders you have in the e-mail fields of "user e-mails" and "admin e-mails".

On a couple of my sites the one for "name" ended up in the e-mail field somehow.
