Non-backwards compatible Joomla! changes tend to do that. Update to RSForm! Pro 1.51.13.

I have the same problem, since I updated to Joomla 3.5.1, the emails to user that have registered using the form, they no longer receive the confirmation email.

at the same time, the "thank you message" sends a top line with a message "Wrong adress: {lastname: value}" which is not the adress at all.

I have updated to RS forms 1.51.13, I am not using the Cache from joomla, but nothing seems to work.

I am having 300 users being registered to an event daily and I am desperate since I upgraded 3 days ago..!!
I need some help to solve this!!

Luis

Finally RS forms Pro is back working fine.
I still do not know what happened. The "thank you " message was giving me (and the user) an "invalid Field" error and the email to user were not being sent. Meanwhile the email to admin was working well, so I changed the email to admin to the user with {email: value} as adress.

this worked fine for 3 days, then suddenly, the admin emails stopped working and the user emails started to work, so I configured back to the original settings, and now everything is fine...

I never understood what was wrong with the user emails...

Same problem here, since 3.5.1 upgrade, RS Forms 1.51.14 doesnt complete anymore. It gets the data in the database, but something goes wrong with the redirect ?

In any of the "From Email", "Reply To", "CC", "BCC" or even "To" fields you've added a text instead of an email address.

Yes that was the problem. Thank you for your answer and sorry for the misstake.

Apart from that: is this a new check Rs Forms does ? The error could be more clear.

It's a change in the Joomla! mailing class: github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/9530
All errors were silent before.

My clients are extremely unhappy with this issue when is the fix going to be released.

I have had to install Fox Contact on some client sites just to get the form working again.

The fix has already been added in RSForm! Pro 1.51.13 (a few hours after Joomla! 3.5.1 was released). Other than that, "Invalid address" errors are the result of incorrect configuration, as evidenced by my reply:
