Hi,

RSForm is not working ok on this page: www.oorzaak.nl/contact

It seems to me that the issue started after updating to Joomla 3.5 although I did not check the form directly before updating.

When using the form:
- there is no validation of (required) fields (no error messages when intentionally submitting wrong input);
- after clicking the submit button, all fields are rendered empty again; the captcha is NOT renewed;
- the Thank you -page is not shown;
- there's no submission in the database, neither are e-mails being sent.

Strange thing is that, while testing, one test submission was processed almost correctly (the submission was being sent en submitted to the database but the page was 'stuck' on the thank you-message). After disabling the thank you message for a moment and enabling it again, the form stopped working.

I checked the Firefox console for Javascript errors but could not find any. Hope you can help me out?

Frits

With help of RSJoomla staff I found out that this problem was due to using global Joomla caching. After disabling the caching, my form worked as expected.

So it had nothing to do with Joomla 3.5 after all.

Kind regards, Frits

Hello Frits,
I do have the same problem. Disabling Joomla cache and the form will work again.
But I like to have cache = on. Any solutions on this point?

I am using J3.5.1 and RSFormPro 1.51.14

Hi Nico,

After my latest post on this forum I discussed this issue with several other Joomla users. Most of them had the opinion that this should be regarded as a RSFormPro related issue after all as it should be possible to use caching regardless of the use of an extension.

I did not yet check if this issue is present on all sites where I have RSFormPro installed and caching on, that would be interesting.

Kind regards, Frits
