TOPIC: Check a text file and then populate fields

Check a text file and then populate fields 9 years 1 month ago #34588

Hello dears,
I wanted to check if any of you have ever had the same need or have a piece of code or is able to help with the following need. I want to say I'm not an expert programmer or coder hence the need to ask for help and not probably doing it myself.

Assume I have a form with three text fields: "Name", "Last-Name" and "ID".

I need the user populate the "Name" and "Last Name" and then RSFormPro will need to automatically (no button press) look for the "Name" and "Last-Name" into a text field and pull the "ID", putting it into the "ID" field as pre-loaded value.

The scheme of the text file will be very easy, with "Name", "Last-Name" and "ID" each one on a separate line of text, one after the other like

John
Smith
5A65A1
Kathy
Perry
2FJ76GF
Bill
Murray
jhgE4dcD
....
....
....

I can put the text file anywhere on the web server.

Is it something doable ? Or any other suggestion to do it ?

Many many many many thanks!
