Hello,

I hope someone can assist. i have searched the forum but am not finding a solution specific to my problem.

I have a form with a placeholder for the "To" field in the Admin email configuration. The emails are being delivered and received when the "To" value is an email not on the website's domain but as soon as the "To" value is any email on the website's domain, I get the cannot instantiate mail function error.

For example, supposing the website's domain is example.com, if the Admin email "To" value is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , the emails are sent, no errors. As soon as the Admin email "To" value is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , I get the error message.

In all cases the "From" field is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it - the same domain as the website.

I tested the joomla mail function by setting up a dummy user, and those system emails are working 100%.

Cny anyone provide any solutions please?

Many thanks
