TOPIC: RSForm Pro plugin causing issues with html output

RSForm Pro plugin causing issues with html output 9 years 7 months ago #32540

I have just installed the plugin on a site in development. When I went to the page it looks like the plugin tries to load 3 times, twice in the head which appears to be closed bringing all my scripts into the body!!! Naturally I'm just going to load the module using modules anywhere and plow on. I just thought you might like to check your code for unclosed elements.

I checked with and without the plugin and the error only comes with the plugin. Joomla 3.4.4

This is actually normal for the System plugin. You will notice that if you switch it off, the RSForm!Pro standard CSS and JS files won't be loaded anymore on every site page. This is because within the execution flow you don't know if a form is being displayed or not in a given page.

The System plugin should only be used if you would to like to display forms in third party extensions (that don't trigger content plugins).

If you are planning to use RSForm!Pro in module positions or content elements, simply use mod_rsform and/or the RSForm!Pro content plugin.

Thank you for the clarification. I had tried the {rsform 3} syntax but it hadn't fired hence me thinking I had forgotten to install something (you know what it's like when you do something 20 times!).

Cheers
