TOPIC: Adding a Clickfish.liquid-data.com feed & API toke

Adding a Clickfish.liquid-data.com feed & API toke 9 years 8 months ago #32180

Hi,

I need to find a way to add this live feed to the form output, that adds the token and sends it to the 3rd party service.

I'm assuming a php script will be required, but is there a way in RSForms Pro to do this without script?

Live Feed

POST URL: clickfish.liquid-data.com/listener.php
API Token: PTQ8FnvGaYaipmOsBYnM3T
Example posting string: clickfish.liquid-data.com/listener.php?t...ture_date=2010-09-12 22:42:41&ip=&url=

Joomla 3.4.3
PHP 5.4.43

Thanks

Have you considered using the Post to location feature ? More on it here:

Hi Alex,

I did see that option, but I assume from the last line item, that that post will need to go to a PHP script that will add the token, then re-post with token to Clickfish.

So a custom script will need to be created to do that processing.

Is my understanding correct?

Thanks

Not quite. You can simply include the token as a hidden field within the form.

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your feedback, after talking to the vendor I added the hidden field with the token to the form.
I also had to make some changes to silent post to send that form and token to account.
Waiting to hear back on receipt of data.
I was at first under the assumption that it needed to be in the URL of the post as was first instructed. Hope that works.

Mark
