Can't change Admin Email.
Save and Save & Close buttons are not doing anything. only Cancel works.
Tried different computers and accounts but still not working.
What should I do about this?

Thanks!

You should simply update to the latest available version. Update instructions are available here:

I am having also this issue. And I fully agree with the people above: It should not be asked to purchase a new subscription for this fix.

I am not aksing for the latest version, but please provide a fix or workaround or just the code snippet to fix this ourselves.

I think this is just fair!

Thanks

So we should maintain all (!) previous versions, without an actual update, but with little fixes here and there which are publicly available. Is this what you are saying ? Doesn't sound feasible... Doesn't sound feasible especially when this is a commercial extension.

You are assuming that this is being generated by a bug in the extension. A Joomla! update actually caused this.

There's no "expiration" date or anything like that as you imply. If the Joomla! framework changes - as it did in this case - then adjustments need to be made. Adjustments that are - you guessed it - included in newer versions. You did upgrade Joomla!, didn't you?

Is the current RSForm! Pro (or any extensions) supposed to work when Joomla! 4.0 will be released? How about Joomla! versions after that?

Bottom line is: if you upgrade to newer versions of Joomla!, be prepared to upgrade your extensions as well. Same goes for PHP or any other upgrades you do.

Developers can't possibly build an extension that should work across all future versions of the Joomla! CMS - if you find one, please let us know. We'd love to find out the secret recipe.

Hi All
I had exactly the same problem.
The support team said that actually the email links open in a new browser window!
I hadn't noticed this as they were minimalised!

Best

No, you did not have the exact same issue. You simply missed the editing pop-up browser window.

Anyway, just go to phpMyadmin and do the changes in the table "_rsform_forms". The field for the User Email is "UserEmailText" and the field for the Admin email is "AdminEmailText". That works just fine. Live happily with your version of RSforms for a while longer.

Apart from that: Nice product!

Thanks poml, you've given me an idea for a more simple solution -

Go to Components/RSForm Pro/your form name/Properties/mappings/

Create a new query

Select 'Update' as the method

Hit 'Connect to database'

Scroll down to the table " _rsform_forms " and click on it

Scroll down to the field 'AdminEmailText (text)'

Type your new Admin Email Text (this could be a hidden field value)

Don't enter anything anywhere else, just hit 'Save'

Test the form and check your email

Works great for me.
