Hello,

We are trying to create a web form for users to fill out for a tech support request.
The form then emails our actual ticketing system and creates the ticket.

So far we've done all this and it emails our ticket system.

The bad part is that the "from" email address is that of the Joomla system; which is "noreply@<domain>.com

What we need is the email that is being sent needs to have a "From" address of the user that filled out and submitting the form. We have a field in the form for users to insert their email. However, the value is not being used when the email is sent.

We've used {Email:value} in the "from" field, but it doesn't work.

Any ideas of how we can get the "From" address on the emails to be that of whatever is input in the form?

Thank you in advance,

-james

Hello,
I have the same problem - the address "From" is a from Joomla global configuration, not from RSForm.

RSForm pro version 1.5.0.7

Can you help me?

Thank you,
David
