I have a dozen or so RSForms that contain a script code which is executed after the user presses the submit button. This code is what transfers our information from the form to our CRM system. What happens is that the code takes up to about 30 seconds to execute and people sometimes get impatient and press the submit button again. This restarts the script and then sends duplicate information to the CRM system. We added a message recently saying that to wait as the form may take up to 30 seconds to process. Although this has helped I would like to make the submit button freeze until the processing is completed and the thank you message appears. I read in the forum about implementing an hourglass image. It seems to me that freezing the submit button would be a better way to go. We have been using the "input" type button.

I see that someone pointed out this fix. But the Ajax validation would then have to be enabled, that would prevent false data from freezing the form when submit is pressed. That may work for me, giving it a try. Does anyone have thoughts about this? Here is earlier forum post:
