TOPIC: MD5 hash on the RSForm log file

MD5 hash on the RSForm log file 10 years 10 months ago #27839

Hello everyone, I have a problem, a few days ago from my site a prankster have simulated 10,000 requests for information with emails from at people who do not know, I sent to succession 10000 confirmations of requests for information received.

I keep a log of submission of the form, I handed over to the police post, but I say that to fully validate these logs need a MD5 hash on the log form.

Can someone explain the procedure, to be able to send logs validated?

Please, for me it is urgent, thanks in advance

For example, a user from a form of sending an email, the data entered by the customer, are saved in the management of the data sent, that they see from the backend and database.

I would like to send these data that were saved in a text file, or database, but also in MD5 format.

as providing the police logs, extracts data management post, I might have tampered with manually IP, date and time, and having a MD5 hash of the data sent, the police can compare the data log post, log in to the md5 hash, ensuring so the integrity of the log file, by going to compare.

And 'possible to somehow perform this procedure?

Sorry for my bad english, I'm Italian;)

You can export the submitted information as CSV. Head to Components > RSForm!Pro > Manage Submissions. You will be to this per form.

You can simply rename the "csv" extension to "txt".
