TOPIC: [SOLVED] HTML5 placeholder multi lang

[SOLVED] HTML5 placeholder multi lang 11 years 3 weeks ago #27223

Hi,

I use the HTML tag placeholder to display label in the text input. I added the placeholder in the "Additionnal Attributes" field in RSForm. It works perfectly.
My problem is that now, I have 2 languages on my site : French (default) and English. With RSForm, I can easily translate the label, but I can't set a different "additionnal attributes" for the 2 lang. Maybe I can do that with a PHP code ? Or JS ?

Thanks

Hello,

You can try implementing this similar as explained in the following article:

Also, don't forget about older browsers. You have to use jQuery plugin, if a browser doesn't support it natively. I read this one: cross-browser support for attribute placeholder in HTML5 to figure out how it works.

But what if I need multilanguage placeholders AND labels?
There's a way to achieve this scenario?
