Wondering if people who have RSform Pro could help me in deciding if RSform Pro is for us.
We sell a limited number of different parts online however with different part sizes and combinations as well as a lack of standard sizes boxes in stock we are having a hard time with virturemart type systems which would like to calculate shipping automatically. Love the virtuemart setup but if we put it in Cataloge mode they can not send us a request only look at the products.
So we would like to continue to offer our products to our clients as we always have... in this order.
a) Clients submit a form checking marking the products they need and the quantities. (Running totals is a must).
b) Once completed they would fill out their information (name, address, etc).
c) The client would select from a few payment options.
d) The client would select from the shipping options (services such as USPS, Fedex, UPS etc).
They would then send the request to us already knowing the total of the products by using RSform Pro (we are hoping).
That would be the end of the RSform Pro responsibilities.
We would of course review the order we received by email from RSform Pro and send them a quote on the shipping. If they are happy then we invoice or charge them accordingly.
Here is an example of what we tried to use but noticed it being very slow and the limitations such as picture sizes were just too much.
If anyone here knows if RSform Pro is capable of serving are needs we would very much appreciate your advice.
P.S. This is our old site (http://www.technics1200s.com/index.php?p=1_120_Order-Parts) which we are updating as I type this. It will give you an idea of what we need however looking for more functionality such as bigger pictures (maybe a zoom feature). It would be great if there could be some drop down options for some product etc. It does take time to load seeing as ALL products are listed on one page so if anyone has some advice on how to sold this with RSform Pro we would love to hear it.
