I have a client that is interested in making a square footage calculator for painting rooms that would output a price based on price per square foot.

For example: If the room is 10 feet x 10 feet with 8 foot ceilings. The calculation would be 4 walls that are 10' x 8' so 80sf per wall x 4 walls = 320sf. Plus the total square footage of the ceiling (10' x 10') 100sf would be a total of 420 sf. For example lets say the price per square foot is $1.00, in this example the price would be $420.00.

To take it a step further there needs to be an option to select Baseboard Trim. If the customer fills out the wall measurements then it would take the width variable of the walls and add it times 4. This would output another price that would be based on linear feet of the walls. If they have a door they could check another box that lets them enter the dimensions of the door so the base board linear feet is calculated properly.
