This is probably pretty basic, but I've had pro forms for a few months now and set up a form on my joomla site. Submit was configured so that one of my emails would be notified... And i thought... The info on the form would be sent to my email. I am just now finding out that this was not the case. Newbie error! I was simply getting a "notification" that there had been an enquiry, which no data being sent to me. I have now discovered the data is found by going to my joomla admin... But this is rather awkward. I just want the data from the form to be sent to my email address as soon as the customer submits it. How do I go about doing this?

Hello,

The emails contain only what you place in.
To build them you just need to read the basic documentation ( www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...onfigure-emails.html ) and complete your mail with the different placeholders you want see.

It is also possible to attach to your email a pdf file that you build easily by reading the documentation ( www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...-pro-pdf-plugin.html ) or to an other page ( www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...essing-scripts-.html ).

Hope this will help you.

Didier.

Hi upbm... thanks for the reply and links...

yup... been through a lot of the docs but what I'm really asking is to be able to get the data that the customer puts in the form dent automatically to the email address I set up in the submit button. I haven't the up a followup campaign yet where I send out an email to anyone who has submitted an enquiry and probably will, but my main concern now is being able to quickly reading the enquiries without having to go into my joomla admin, exporting a csv or excel file and then reading it from there...

there has to be an easier way?

"With RSForm! Pro, you can send custom emails to the users that submitted the form. Naturally, you can customize RSForm! Pro to send another email to you, as administrator. These two types of email (User and Admin) are configured separately, in the two corresponding areas of the back-end form properties management. In both cases, you can use simple placeholders to display information.Because both forms are identical, we will cover them both."

just read this again for the umpteenth time... is this what you're referring to?... the first couple of reads I thought it was only for a follow email to the customer... but would this do what I want as well and take all the info submitted and send it to me as the admin... was this a duh, now I get it moment... if so my forehead is gonna hurt for a bit!
