I am using RSForms Pro to update the status of members in my organization.

Each member has a Joomla article that will list the submissions from the form (date, status) I created in RSForms Pro. However, I do not want to have a separate form for each member.

What I want to be able to do is have a single form that can be used to update any one of my members' articles. So for example, if I want to update only John Doe's status, I can enter the information into the form, select John Doe from a drop-down list (or other method), and when I click submit have it update John Doe's submission list.

Is that possible?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Hello,

With RSForm!Pro, when listing submissions, the menu item used to list submissions can be set to only show the logged in user's submissions only for that particular form.

The newest RSForm!Pro revision also comes with a Manage Directories feature, which is used to allow editing the submitted information from the frontend area(this can also be setup to only show the logged in user's submissions).

In your case, since you want to update the submitted information for a particular user, simply use the Directory Submissions menu item, enable this feature and list all submissions for a form. This way you can update a particular submissions's information(this would be the simpler way). This menu item also has a search field in which you can search through the submitted information.

The following article explains the Manage Directories feature in a more detailed way:

I would recommend reading the getting started section for a better understanding of RSForm!Pro feature's and capabilities:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...getting-started.html

If this is not the case, try to provide with a more detailed explanation and accurate information on how exactly you see this scenario work.
