TOPIC: Quick Introduction Needed

Quick Introduction Needed 11 years 7 months ago #25508

HI guys, I just purchased RSFormPro,and I'm about to develop my new website. This is my first time using RSFormPro. I have a few questions for you.

A) what kind of data the administrator will get when user send their details through form I created using RsFormPro?

B) whare the data will be save? is it in Joomla database or its straight go to the email address that we set?

** Just in case it's in joomla database, means I have to access joomla backend to export the data from there. What if I want it to go to the email that I set? So I don't have to access my joomla backend.

Thanks.
:)

Hello,

RSForm!Pro can send HTML emails messages when the form is submitted. In order to also send the form's submitted data, you will have to add your form's specialized placeholders within the email message.

Your specific form's placeholder are found by going to backend > Components > RSForm!Pro > Manage Forms > your form > Properties > User/Admin Emails, and by clicking on the "Toggle Quick Add" button, located in the upper right corner.

The following article explains the generated RSForm!Pro emails in a more detailed way:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...onfigure-emails.html

When installing RSForm!Pro, it will create it's specific database tables(these will contain the "_rsform" prefix) where the submitted data will actually be saved.

I would recommend reading the getting started section for a better understanding of the component's features and capabilities:
