TOPIC: CRM Type Of System

CRM Type Of System 12 years 3 weeks ago #22589

Hello Everyone,

I am looking to try and us RS Forms to develop a CRM type system for my business.

Basically I am in the auto industry and want to develop a system off of my website to manage the user experience. With this will come the following:

User data - name, address, phone number, etc
Car data - year make model
Reason car is in for service - Check engine light, oil change, etc.

Basically creating a ticket when the customer comes in with that information, the ticket then gets passed to the technician with all the information about the car. In the same field, the technician would also be able to look up past tickets involving this car in case the car is back for the same issue, or the symptoms might be related.

Once the tech is done, he passes the ticket to the manager with all the information done (fields, check boxes, written notes, maybe even picture uploads to the ticket). The manager would then create the invoice (a separate system for now) and them close the ticket.

We have an abundance of paper for notes when we work on the car. The thought it to eliminate as much paper as possible and keep everything in a centrally located area where we can access it and the customer can access it should they ever need to.

I've done a lot of note taking and writing on the forms I would need to build to do this. I just don't know if this is the best way to do it. Maybe I need to incorporate RS Tickets into this, not really sure. But I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction because my business is ready to take this step forward and invest the time to do it.

There isn't anything that does this right now and nothing that does it where it's an easy way to transition from the customer to the tech to the service writer. The few options around for shop management cost a fortune and are very basic and archaic.
