I created a few considiotnal fields and they work fine when I preview the form.

Conditional Fields Working

You can see it working by clicking the "Other" radio button on the second set of radio buttons.

If you go to the URL where I am calling the form using {rsform 4} in my article, the conditional fields don't work and the address field always show.

Conditional Fields Working Broken

How do I get this to work while using the rsform shortcode in my article?

Thanks,

Micah

I've changed the title of the post - the System Plugin has nothing to do with it. There's a "bug" in Internet Explorer that scrambles the <form> if it's inside a <p> tag (a form shouldn't be in a paragraph in the first place, but most browsers ignore this and work fine).

Please take a look at this article, which details exactly what's happening to you.

I am having a similar issue, but in IE7 and IE8. I am not using the plugin; I am linking directly to the form.

In IE7 the conditional fields all show on the page, and clicking radio buttons does nothing.
In IE8 it *looks* OK but you can't actually click anything, because it never finished loading the JavaScript.

Can someone confirm whether or not the RsForm Pro conditional fields are supposed to be functional in IE7/8?

I removed the <p></p> tag and it's now the conditional fields are working properly. The <p> tag was added by CKeditor.

Thanks for the help.

Of course conditional fields are working in Internet Explorer. If they're not working in your case you have either a Javascript error, a misplaced tag on the page or the above applies to you as well.

I had this problem and the only way I could solve it was to make the fields optional instead of required. I am linking directly from a menu so it is not the <p> problem.

Your issue is related to the template:
www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...are-not-working.html

RocketTheme templates apply some javascript to checkboxes / radiogroups and these do not work anymore in Internet Explorer. It's a site-wide issue, not just related to RSForm! Pro.
