TOPIC: Ability to publish/unpublisforms for a time period

Ability to publish/unpublisforms for a time period 12 years 1 month ago #22346

Hello,

It would be really interesting to be able to publish or unpublish forms just like any Joomla article using a start_date and an end_date.

Displaying a user defined message would be fantastic. Example: company is closed until ... please come back later.

Regards

Hello,

Unfortunately RSForm!Pro does not incorporate this functionality. Due to RSForm!Pro flexible nature, you can add a script in the "Scripts called on form display" area that will compare the current date with your desired date, and depending on the outcome you can set the $formLayout string(which contains all the HTML code of the form) to be replaced with your HTML message. You can read more about this scripting area here:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...602-php-scripts.html

Another approach if you are using the "RSForm!Pro content" plugin to display the form inside of a Joomla! article, then can try setting the start/end publish dates of the article, but will simply unpublished the article without having a message instead. More information on this plugin can be found here:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...m-in-an-article.html
