Hi

I am new to RS Forms.

I've looked at the 'Data Is Not Sent In Emails' point, in FAQs, but as far as I can see - my placeholders are valid. Well, they were 'auto generated' - so surely they must be valid (?).

When a user completes the form this is the email that the administrator of the site receives:

You have a new submission.

Your Name: Barny Rubble

Your Email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Subject: Pebbles

{Message:caption}: {Message:value}

: Send

In addition to not sending the value of 'Message'. It is also not sending the results to the conditional elements (radio button selections etc).

Please could somebody give me instructions to resolve?

Thanks

Hello,

The email body comes with an example on how placeholder are used, they do not auto-generate. In order for the placeholders to actually work you will have to use your components exact name. RSForm!Pro uses your form specific placeholders that are replaced upon form's submission.

You can view all your form's available placeholders by clicking on the "Toggle Quick Add" button, located in the upper right corner of form's Properties > User/Admin Emails.

More information on placeholders and how to setup the user/admin email please refer to the following articles:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...ticle/74-emails.html
www.rsjoomla.com/tv/episode/50-ep-51-how...ls-in-rsformpro.html

We've also added a new pseudo-code in the newest revision(rev. 46) of the component which will allow you to control this further, more information on this can be found here:
