TOPIC: Salesforce Integration

Salesforce Integration 12 years 2 months ago #21938

I have been using RSForm!Pro to integrate with salesforce web-to-lead for several years.

However, on the 28th February, it stopped working, and a brief error message is returned in the browser when a user submits a form. The error message is;

Warning fsockopen() [function.fsockopen}:unable to connect to www.salesforce.com:80 (Connection timed out) in /clientdata/zeus-dynamic-1/b/a/basair.com.au/www/plugins/system/rsfpsalesforce/rsfpsalesforce.php on line 72

Everything works okay when I use straight html on the site to create the web-to-lead - it is only the RSForms! pages that have the problem. And they were working fine up until that date.

I have tried removing the reCpatcha field on the form, and that does not fix the problem.

Any ideas?

Please contact your hosting provider - the connection to the salesforce server could not be made (as the error message points out) and they are the only ones who can debug this.

I found out that there was an url add on the topic
-> Form Properties > Post to location (silent post) > Post to url.
I deactivated this, and the error was gone.
