I'm posting this issue that I have here in the Forum to see if there is anyone else who thinks this feature is important.

What I'm after is a Reference No, Booking No or Subscription No...
Something for the subscriber to refer to when making his/her payment. I would then use this to easily track down the subscription that a payment was made for (and be sure not to pair the payment with the wrong subscription).

At present I ask the subscriber to supply his/her e-mail address, Name of event, Date of event when making a payment which I don't think is ideal.

I am aware of the barcode and barcodetext placeholders but these only work in the activation e-mail. What I'm looking for is prior to that step. Because to be able to approve a subscription I first need to find it with the information that was supplied with the payment.

This is why I would suggest some kind of placeholder in the registration e-mail that would serve as reference.

Am I the only one who'd appreciate this feature? Please let me know what you think or if you have other solutions to this issue.

You can simply search for the subscription by the registering email address...

Now that RSEventsPro PDF plugin includes TAX & Totals macros, the possibility of sending the subscriber an invoice is tantalisingly close.

Of course this is not possible without a subscription reference or invoice number.
Why only go 99% of the way there?

Why should we go to the trouble of searching through the list and adding our support to entries when you guys just pick and choose what features you want to add anyway?
