I want to utilize bootstrap with font awesome regarding my drop down menu and buttons. I can't think of what to configure or how to make that at all possible.

For example I want to alter the caret that points down for the drop down menu but can't figure how I would be able to do that.

I appreciate help in this regard.

I'd be interested in knowing how to do this as well.

I'd like to know how to do this aswell, as I tried to replace the <div> tags with the correct Bootstrap elements (input, labels etc...) but then the form stops working!

IDeally, I'd like to be able to use the Bootstrap form styling shown here: getbootstrap.com/css/#forms

I want to use Bootstrap 3 for my whole site and for all of my sites in the near future. It seems to be nearly impossible to get Bootstrap into RSForms. Sure, a few RSForm files could be overridden (which would be much easier if RSForm cared about Joomla standards, for css assets, for example). And there's the possibility to ads php script to forms to modify the output. But that's a messy way to do it. This has bothered me for years (not Bootstrap 3, obviously, but the great difficulty of styling RSForms).
Now I'm at the point of abandoning RSForms completely, for this very reason. I kept hoping for improvements. Time to give up?

Hello,
I'm also trying to use Bootstrap in my RSformPro forms.
Looking how to do this, I found this information, I hope it's helpful.
But, it would be better if RSForm people developed a proprietary solution to integrate Bootstrap in the component.

Hello all,
That way RSForm Pro renders its form fields cannot be changed other than hacking core RSForm Pro files.
I have done that for older RSForm Pro versions: github.com/renekreijveld/rsformpro-bootstrapped
But be very carefull: this is NOT compatible with the latest rsformpro versions. (1.48 and up).

As RSForm Pro updates very regulary it is impossible to keep our hack up-to-date alle the time. Also: our hack creates form fields output that is Bootstrap 2 compatible. In Bootstrap 3, the HTML form markup has changed since Bootstrap 2: getbootstrap.com/css/#forms

I have offered my hack to RSJoomla a long time ago in the hope that they would pick it up and integrate it into future RSForm Pro versions. Unfortunately this hasn't happened. Until then the best solution is to use the Responsive CSS3 layout. But for sure that is not optimal in a Bootstrap 3 environment.
