I am needing to set up two forms on my client's website. The first form will collect the guest's information and send it to the client for review. If the client approves what was submitted, the guest will be sent a link to the second form which will have matching fields to the first form. These input fields would be auto-populated using the data submitted in the first form. Can this be done using RSFormPro!? I have found this page http://www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/view-article/726-display-information-submitted-in-a-different-form.html that offers similar functionality to what I am looking for.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

After working with the RSFormPro! for a little bit I figured out how to connect the two forms. I added the following link yourwebsitename.com/index.php?option=com...{global:submissionid} to the admin email. I then added the necessary placeholders to the respective input fields default value area on the second form. When the user visits the second form using the URL, the input fields are automatically populated with the information they submitted on the first form. I hope this is helpful to anyone else looking for this type of functionality in their forms.

Mike, thanks for your post & update as this is similar to what I'm trying to do. I'm a bit new to RSForm! Pro and having a bit of a time wrapping my head around this.

I have 1 form that is customer-facing and another form that is for my designer. My designer uses the 2nd form to add additional services to our customer's projects for the final bill and payment. I'm running into obstacles pre-populating data fields on the 2nd form based on values from the first form.

Fields I need to carry over are
Project_Number
Project_Subtotal
First_Name
Last_Name
Email_Address
Event_Name
Event_Date

Can you offer more insight as to how to accomplish this? I'm literally stuck from confusion.
