TOPIC: Hide/Show multiple fields from dropdown

Hide/Show multiple fields from dropdown 12 years 6 months ago #19271

Hi, there.

Got an interesting scenario to consider. Take a look at this page:
ncwsa.skibennetts.com/introduction-2/ban...et-and-t-shirts.html

At the top dropdown menu for Banquet Tickets, it shows a quantity up to ten.
What I would like to do is have additional field appear for each quantity selected - so when three tickets are selected for example, then three text field would then appear to which the customer can then input the name for each banquet ticket bought.

Right now I have the user email requesting that the customer email back with the names for each ticket purchased, but I would like to cut that step out and have that info come through on the opening form interaction.

If someone can steer me to the right area of this site to make this happen or directly offer a method to which this can be achieved I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance,

Tony Lightfoot

Hi,
Have you looked into the Conditional Fields that version 44 introduced? Check it out here
www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...ditional-fields.html

It might be what you need to get the names & tickets matched up in the emails.

Good Luck,
Kathy
