I created several forms where I am not receiving the admin emails but I am receiving the user emails. No matter what email address I use for either one I never get the admin email and always get the user. I have used these forms on other websites but since I have imported them to this new one nothing is working.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Hello,

After you import forms you need to check the form configuration and put in the correct settings.
Check you admin e-mail configuration and check if something is incorrect.
When you can't find it make screenshots and post it on the forum so we can help.

Thank you for your quick response but I figured out the problem. In the admin email properties I had put {Email:value} in the "From" field instead of putting my domain name email address. Once I changed this everything started working. I do not know if this has something to do with the RSForm component or my web hosting provider. I think it is the latter since RSForm has a drop down option in this field to auto populate it with the {Email:value}.

Hello,

That is correct.
The from field in the admin properties is the field where the mail address goes off the form submitter.
It's from the submitter to the receiver e.g. the admin.

In the user e-mail configuration it's the other way around.
The from field is the admin and the to field is to form submitter.

Hi there!
I get this old post because suddenly I have the same problem. I'm using Joomla 2.5.18: I do not receive the "Admins email" from RSForm PRO. The user email works and they are sent...the emails from RSEvents Pro are working...only the Admin Emails from RS Form Pro do not work.

Website email configurations are fine, because I receive as Admin other kind of emails...

I'm getting crazy!!! Here attached a screenshot of my configuration:


Any suggestions?

Hello,

From the screenshoot you have provided, the TO field doesn't contain an actual valid email address (notice " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it "). Since your User Email works, the Admin Email should work as well, this is an incorrect configuration issue. Make sure that you are using valid email addresses and or correct placeholder names which do return valid email addresses.

This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it is just an example I put in the screenshot instead of showing my personal email. In the settings the email is a valid one. :(
