Hi.

I want to display 10 checkbox items, divided over 2 columns.
By default you can only choose to display horizontal or vertical.

Already tried to find the solution here in the forum but without success.

Anybody knows how to achieve this?
Using RS Forms Pro Rev43.

Thanks. Tom

Hi,
This intrigued me since I've been trying to get two column layouts for a while. I looked at some of my notes and thought I'd give the line break command a try in the items list. Here's something else you might try. (see below)
Create the check box component and put the items in the list with each 2 items followed by a
command.
So you'd type in Dog followed by the return key (or enter if that's what term you use. I'm from a printing background so it's always been "return"). Then Cat followed by
and return.
Repeat for all 10 items in the list. Note I use the non-breaking space command to line up the item check boxes in the display. It can be adjusted as needed by adding more/less.
Leave the display selection set to horizontal. So your checkbox component would look something like this:

Dog
Cat
Mouse
Rat
I'd suggest creating a small test form to see if this will work for you. Also, check out the Custom PayPal example file listed in the Front End demo area. It has the two column set up doing it in the form layout -- look for the Product/Quantity in the code.

Make sure that you have the form completed before you do any editing in the layout area. Any regenerate will wipe out your edits. I always copy and save in Notepad if I'm doing that type of edits so I have them saved ... just in case I goof it up!

Let us know if this works for you...
