TOPIC: Language Pack Installation

Language Pack Installation 12 years 1 month ago #16778

Hi all,

I've downloaded the Swedish language pack. The Support page for RSForm! says:
To install a new language file, follow these steps:
Locate your Joomla!/components/com_forme/languages directory.
Place the file in the above specified directory.
There is no further configuration needed. When you setup a default language through Extensions > Language Manager, RSForm! will detect it and load the correct language file.

However, I can' find the specified directory location. Anyone can provide more detailed instructions on how to install? I'm new to Joomla :(

Many thanks in advance!
Soo

Hi Wilco,

Thanks for your reply.
Could you tell me how to locate this directory on Joomla? I only know of "Media Manager" where files are stored, and they are mainly images. I'm using Joomla 1.5, is that a problem?

Hi Soo,

These folders can be found through FTP.
You need to connect with a FTP client to your website and then upload the file to the correct folder.
