I have the same problem, what was the solution?

Considering the date on this post, you obviously must have got an answer by now.

For anyone else with the same problem, stumbling across this problem, you have probably been following the same tutorial that I did.

Anyway problem was due to have the error selection in the Site/global configuration/server menu set at maximum. Change this back to what it was and you will be fine.

Yes, the PHP environment settings must have "error_reporting" set to not include E_STRICT messages, such as:
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_STRICT

However - simply turning off error reporting isn't a solution, IMHO. Shouldn't the code be amened to not produce the error(s) in the first place?

Apart from my Joomla sites, I run a fair few custom-coded PHP sites and make quite an effort to make sure I comply with the latest requirements (particularly with respect to declaring variables. Also - I occasionally mix custom PHP code within Joomla anyway - and need the error reporting to spot any "gotchas".

This is a 3 year old post - things have changed since then. RSForm! Pro does not throw any strict errors, given that you are running the latest version. I'm locking this topic since it's no longer relevant.
