TOPIC: AJAX No page refresh function IE

AJAX No page refresh function IE 13 years 4 months ago #15689

I am trying to use the Ajax functionn of RSForms to stop my page refresh upon Invalid field entries which works great in all browsers apart from IE. I can see that this is a common problem to do with the IE cache & Active X functions but am not having any luck with solving this. Any ideas?

[SOLVED] If anyone else runs into this issue just put the form in a module rather than embedded in an article

With Ajax on or off, any form I create just refreshes the page upon submission without submitting the data. Tried various settings, check server logs, inspected the js and no indication of an error anywhere. I have run RSforms many times n the past on this particular website. Cause still unknown. Joomla 2.5, RSFormPro 1.4.0

Edit: I think I just solved my problem by purging and then disabling the Joomla cache. Not ideal but working OK so far.

I have the same problem and the only way I could fix it was to completely turn off Joomla's caching. Definitely not the best way to get it fixed. Has anyone else figured out a better way to repair this problem?

By the way, I'm running Joomla 3.4.1 with RS Forms 1.50.14.
