TOPIC: Keep form inputs when validation fails

We have a long user registration form and when the user mistypes the password or other required elements the form resets and requires the user to re-input their information. Is there a way to keep the information in place that the user has entered when the form validates?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

I would be interested in this answer as well. I have a form that also acts as registration integration and if someone screws the pooch on the password, or say chooses a username ALREADY in use then validation fails and all of the completed form fields up to that point are reset. It makes folks angry.


P.S. Same thing happened right here just now. I had typed out a longer response and then failed the captcha hahaha. It is very very frustrating lol
